Feeling like you might projectile vomit if you have to have to watch red, white and blue-clad revelers shoot off firecrackers and pound brewskis? We don’t blame you. Instead of melancholically and/or balefully staring at the rockets’ red glare, head to Winter Park for Queer Anarchy.
This rave-as-drag show is a collaboration between queer firestarters (Prodigy reference, not actual arson; calm it down) Hellhound Entertainment and Kandi Krave. The show features DJs from three essential LGBTQ+ events — Bitcrusher Boi from Kandi Krave, Rocky Black from Communion and Vaxyn8 from Black Haus — as well as Alex Veil and Brickhouse Baby. Drag comes from Sixx Black, Anesthesia, Evan Essence, Pristine Filth, Fanny Sea and the unpredictable glam whirlwind that is Adi Love.
Now this is some American ingenuity and communal energy to be proud of. So does that make this the most patriotic event of July 4, 2026? Draw your own conclusions.
