Hard-touring hip-hop hitmaker Don Toliver clearly loves the road. Not only is he currently on an extensive U.S. tour dubbed Octane — which hits Orlando Friday — it is currently shifting into overdrive to become the Nitrous world tour.
Continuing with this all-gas-no-brakes metaphor, Toliver is already itching to release new album Nitrous to follow up on his Billboard-topping album titled, yes, Octane. The Travis Scott-affiliated singer-rapper from Houston has been going all-in on his obsessions with fast cars and rally-racing (to, like, an Oasis soccer fandom level) for Octane and it’s already burning rubber on all the relevant streaming services.
There’s a satisfying full-circle-ness to the tour which basically kicked off with Toliver’s set at Rolling Loud earlier this year, and now here he is with the spotlight all to himself. Life truly is a highway.
