Darkwave acts Meldamor, Last Grasp and Glass Chapel take the stage at Will’s Pub for a night of synthesized sounds perfect for fans of Depeche Mode or Boy Harsher.
The Bauhaus-monikered “Kick in the Eye” goth night features two Florida-based post-punk bands, Last Grasp (Gainesville) and Glass Chapel (Jacksonville), with headliners Meldamor on tour from Phoenix. The latter duo explores themes of love, grief and pain in their music with a highly theatrical — and leather-encased — visual and performance style.
