Marauding metal space legion GWAR might just be one of the most loud-and-proud protest acts out there. (And fellow Gen-Xers, don’t act all surprised like they haven’t always been that way or Gor Gor will eat you.) This is a band who is happily out there every night decapitating papier-mâché constructs that look eerily similar to our president and a certain X owner/Tesla CEO/SpaceX founder.

Speaking of Gor Gor, the prodigal giant dinosaur will reportedly return to the stage for this current touring run, with a battle to the death with GWAR promised. Beyond that, you get blood, guts, spikes, blades and gonzo metal albums that push the meter of good taste into the blood-red.

The opening lineup is ridiculously stacked with hooded black metal ghoul Midnight, McDonalds-parodying sludgelords Mac Sabbath and X-Cops (we’re sure you can guess their gimmick). It’s a can’t-miss return to a venue this band have been playing for more than 30 years (wheeze).

8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, The Beacham, 46 N. Orange Ave., beachamorlando.com, $36.
