Laid-back rapper Curren$y is on a victory lap as he brings “The Winners Circle Tour” to Orlando. The New Orleans native gained notoriety for being incredibly chill for a Crescent City resident and signing with legendary hip-hop labels No Limit and Cash Money before ultimately deciding to go independent.

With this independence, the stoner rap master has cemented a cult-like following through a consistent release of quality albums over the last decade. Curren$y made waves last week on social media after reuniting with Wiz Khalifa and dropping Roofless Records for Drop Tops: Disc 2, perfectly suited for cruising around in a convertible. “The Winners Circle Tour” features live arrangements from The 747 Band, perfect for getting loose.

6 p.m. Thursday, May 7, The Abbey, 100 S. Eola Drive, abbeyorlando.com, $41-$550.
