While Florida’s Legislature keeps attempting to outlaw the act of left-lane cruising, we still love Left Lane Cruiser the band.
The gruesome Indiana twosome are modern-day saviors of the great punk blues tradition, carrying the torch with dirty slide-guitar action that sizzles like fatback on a hot pan. Their grease-bucket blues rock has been reliably nasty enough to make them a mainstay on legendary underground label Alive Naturalsound Records for nearly all of their two-decade career. Left Lane Cruiser are one of the last true punk-blues greats alive.
Joining them Wednesday are Missouri bluegrass satanists Pentagram String Band and New England folk punk Little Foot. Seriously, though, stop fucking cruising in the left lane, y’all.
7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, Will’s Pub, $15-$20.
