German electronic music trailblazers Kraftwerk have, improbably, announced a 2025 North American tour — and, even more improbably, a return to downtown Orlando is on the books. This writer caught their last Orlando show a couple of years ago, and let us tell you, it was a very emotional experience.

Kraftwerk come to the United States in the spring for their Multimedia Tour, an excursion marking 50 years of groundbreaking album Autobahn, as well as a quick robotic nod toward their first U.S. tour in 1975.

Recent Orlando visitor Tony Hawk featured in today’s tour announcement video, zipping around a half-pipe to “The Robots,” “Autobahn,” etc. The Kraftwerk 2025 tour is said to be a blend of “music, visuals and performance art”; dare we hope to see more Hawk?

Kraftwerk play the Dr. Phillips Center’s Steinmetz Hall on March 19, 2025. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 13.
