KC and the Sunshine Band to play the Villages next month

Disco survivors KC and the Sunshine Band have announced a Florida show set for next month, and watch out, it’s at the Villages! (Insert gratuitous joint-creaking jokes here at your discretion.) But let’s be honest, “That’s the Way (I Like It)” and “Get Down Tonight” – have you ever heard the Shriekback version? – are Platonic ideals of pop music.

KC and the Sunshine Band play the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center at the Villages at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29. Tickets are $36.00-$155.00.
