Hot Water Music plays Orlando’s Abbey and a free in-store at Park Ave CDs this week

Ahead of Wednesday night’s concert at the Abbey, Gainesville punk legends Hot Water Music are making an in-store afternoon appearance at Park Ave CDs — their first at the Audubon Park spot in nearly 20 years.

The band celebrates Park Ave CDs’ 40-year anniversary with a free performance inside the record store — their first time strapping on guitars in the shop in quite some time.

Hot Water Music comes to Park Ave CDs on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 5:30 p.m. This event is free, with no RSVP required. Then you can bop over to the roomier confines of The Abbey to see the band put on the full show at 7 p.m., in the company of Dikembe and Ways Away.

Wildly, the next day the band will be awarded a Key to the City and play a Fest kickoff show over in their hometown of Gainesville.
