Electropop chanteuse Halsey is currently crossing the country in the company of fellow pop formidables Charli XCX and PartyNextDoor to promote her new album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, the follow-up to 2015’s concept album-with-hooks, Badlands. The 22-year-old has come a long way since her first big hit, the Chainsmokers collaboration “Closer,” holding her own in recent songwriting partnerships with Sia and the Weeknd on two of Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’s standout tracks. Expect a future-forward dance party of the highest order.
