The fourth FL Antifest returns to the Mills 50 block, where it all started several years ago – at Uncle Lou’s, to be precise – with a lineup that plumbs the euphoric highs and filthy lows of the Florida harsh noise and experimental underground (with one lone Georgian and Ohioan also on the bill). The whole shebang is organized by noise scene mover Dylan Houser (Hell Garbage, Formaldehydra) to celebrate his birthday and his peers simultaneously. There are 20 acts on this bill, playing for 15 minutes each, and not a single one is a snoozer. Did you know there is a noise scene in Panama City, perchance? Well, you do now, and it’ll be represented by pan-Longwood alliance Vantage Planet Shithead. We’re particularly enthused about Jonathan Hancock, Penny Grune-Fae and Facepalm Death, but there’s no need to take our word for it. This is like a Baskin-Robbins of discordant textures.
