Amongst the upcoming group of artists announced for the May-June edition of the Atlantic Center for the Arts Master Artist Residency program is a name that’s sure to be very exciting for fans of experimental music. The ACA is bringing in New York avant-garde composer Annie Gosfield to be a resident artist at the Center, but as part of their outreach mission, Gosfield will be playing a free show in Orlando in May!
The celebrated Gosfield has been famously described by the BBC as “a one woman Hadron Collider” and is a prolific, boundary-pushing musician just as comfortable composing for cello as for broken shortwave radios or vacuum cleaners. This one is not to be missed.
Annie Gosfield plays the Timucua White House on Friday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m. as part of her Atlantic Center for the Arts residency. The event is free!
