The brutally honest singer-songwriter found her way to fame through YouTube covers and SoundCloud originals, like many other artists these days, but she has quickly upgraded from her role as the opening act for Imagine Dragons and the Weeknd to headlining her very own tour. Halsey’s forte is songs about sadness and sex; for a measly $28 bucks, the show will give you more of an emotional roller coaster ride than a cheap bottle of wine. Her full-length debut album, Badlands, stood at spot No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 and, even more impressively, Halsey guested on Bieber’s most recent album, Purpose. This girl ain’t an amateur.
