With the weather warming up to an unforgivable level already, we’ve been gorging our ears on the chilly, overcast goth and dark ambient catalog of the much-missed Projekt records label. (We’re talking Lycia, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, etc.)

Sometimes recordings don’t hit, though, and luckily for us Feyleux are coming to town. The darkwave duo combines the best of early Cocteau Twins — as in prime “what the hell is Liz Frasier singing” and frigid mountains of inscrutable guitar — with the foreboding calm of Lycia.

Feyleux will be aided and abetted by the frantic and undeniable EBM of local mod-synth whiz Earth Fault and a drag performance from the always-unholy Anesthesia, fresh off the release of her new noise cassette. We love it when subcultures collide gloriously.

8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, Will’s Pub, $12.
