Many of the acts scheduled for the festival, such as the Flaming Lips, Buckcherry and Def Leppard, have taken the festival off of their current tour schedule, and we expect to see more follow suit since festival lineups are often dependent on touring schedules. There’s no word yet on whether or not headliners KISS are still committed, even though Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons were on hand for the official media announcement back in December.
Despite the frustration that festival organizers might be feeling at having their plans ruined by cyber criminals, maybe this will be a chance for them to tweak the lineup into something a little less reliant on the dubious Buckcherry-Best Coast cross-section of fandom that they seemed to be appealing to.
