Sad girls incoming: Orlando later this year will host emotional-indie-rock royalty Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy on the pair’s “S&M” co-headlining tour.
Snail Mail (Lindsey Jordan) and Soccer Mommy (Sophia Allison) take over the Beacham in downtown Orlando on Oct. 14. The tour’s only other Florida stop is Tampa on the 18th.
The 19-show tour will be the first time the artists have set out on a joint tour, though their music and careers have long blossomed seemingly in parallel with one another: Both of the singer-songwriters found initial widespread success with each of their indie album releases of the mid- to late-2010s.
Snail Mail’s third full-length album, Ricochet, was released this past March, while Soccer Mommy’s most recent album, Evergreen, came out in 2024.
