Despite time running out on their current Winter Park lease and the city positively slavering over the prospect of turfing them, Austin’s Coffee is still being Austin’s.
The bohemian haven this weekend hosts an intimate late night of music, showcasing local and emerging artists. The lineup includes Oliver Mars Green, Zozingbo, John Miles, Zayne and Nursing — a mix of indie, folk and leftfield ambient sounds. The show is slumber party-themed to conjure a cozy lullaby atmosphere, but is not, in fact, an all-nighter.
And the artists get sonically gentle for a good cause: Proceeds go to the Save Austin’s Coffee campaign to help the venerable venue in its next chapter, whatever that may be.
7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, Austin’s Coffee, 929 W. Fairbanks Ave., austinscoffee.com, $5-$10.
