Big Country bring big proto alt-rock to Mount Dora Credit: Courtesy photo
Nostalgia tours for Gen Xers are increasingly starting to look like the Motown package tours of the last few years, with a few surviving original members doing their best to capture the old magic — with wildly varying results.

And yet! This lineup is so incredibly overstuffed, the odds are in your favor, ’80s kids, that there will be some winners. You’ve got a version of Big Country — a Scots band that should have been bigger than U2 — alongside one of two versions of Gene Loves Jezebel making the rounds, Bow Wow Wow without Annabella Lwin, and Tommy Tutone.

So, yes, maybe not full reunions, but these reconstituted lineups are still sturdy enough to play the hits, and we’re very ready to get lost in nostalgia these days.

7 p.m. Sunday, June 29, Mount Dora Music Hall, $36.59-$145.79.
