Woozy news from the camp of sorta-local shoegazers Band in Heaven:
- First up, the band is featured on a new compilation from Killredrocket Records. Jesus in Space 2011: The Resurrection is a 28-track set of syrupy, noisy goodness, featuring BiH’s “Summer Bummer” alongside tracks by the Vanity Press, Bloody Knives, Inifinity Rider, Dead Leaf Echo, and other headwound-inspired rockers. You can download the whole comp, for free, at Killredrocket’s Bandcamp page.
- And, somewhat more prosaically, the group has submitted a remix of Sleigh Bells’ “Rachel” on Indaba. Check out their submission here – and vote for ’em!. They’re currently in 16th place.
