Soul singer extraordinaire Anita Baker has announced an Orlando show set for early Spring of this year, but there’s a hint of the bittersweet to this announcement.
On January 1 of this year, the Soul/R&B/pop crossover artist announced her impending retirement from performing, to be capped off by a series of farewell shows in March. And this show will be one of those long goodbyes.
Anita Baker holds court in the Bob Carr Theater on Friday March 16, at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $49.50 and can be found here.
