Finnish metal giants Amorphis plan to celebrate 30 years of getting loud in style with their late-summer “Tales From the Thousand Lakes” tour, which, as the name would imply, will center around the group playing their cult-favorite album Tales From the Thousand Lakes in its entirety.

This concept album, released in 1994, saw Amorphis dismiss any notions of the dreaded “sophomore slump,” instead delivering an adventurous fusion of death metal with folk and progressive rock.

The band will be joined on this trek by Entombed A.D., Nervosa and more.

Amorphis play the Abbey on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
