If it’s possible for a movie to be almost unwatchable yet completely hilarious, Aqua Teen Hunger Force comes close to realizing that dream. Fans of this Adult Swim staple will find plenty familiar to chew on here ‘ uncomfortable dialogue pauses, nonlinear ‘plotâ?� development, wretched animation, a total disregard for reality (this is a movie about the adventures of a meatball, a milkshake and a carton of fries, after all) ‘ plus copious amounts of profanity and an origin story! Even at a slim 86 minutes, the movie runs just past the duration of the parking-lot buzz required for maximum enjoyment, but even non-partakers will find laughs in the Mastodon-sung movie-snack-bar song, the Neil Peart references and, of course, the notion that a home exercise machine could be a futuristic plot to destroy mankind.
