It’s an extra special year for Disney World’s beloved holiday gingerbread displays.

While the Grand Floridian Resort’s iconic gingerbread house celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, EPCOT will host a gingerbread Spaceship Earth for the first time. Returning favorites include gingerbread giraffes and zebras at Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Holiday Carousel at the Beach Club Resort.

Beyond the festive edible art are menus of gingerbread treats and holiday merch inspired by each resort’s display — including gingerbread shingles, cookies and cake loaves.

Here’s where to find — and taste! — all the gingerbread displays around the Disney World resorts.

EPCOT

Gingerbread Spaceship Earth: CommuniCore Hall will be home to an 8-foot gingerbread Spaceship Earth display that interacts with lights and music. Nearly 1,000 gingerbread triangles create the attraction’s facade, which includes 11 hidden Mickeys to honor the countries of World Showcase.

Animal Kingdom Lodge

Gingerbread Giraffe and Zebra: For the fourth year, the life-sized baby giraffe and baby zebra gingerbread displays return to Animal Kingdom Lodge. The resort’s bakery team bring the nearly 7-foot displays to life using gingerbread, sugar dough and modeling chocolate.
Gingerbread display shop: Limited edition pin, cookie jar and holiday ornaments inspired by the Lodge’s display. Plus, Gingeraffe Cookies and specialty cocktails are available.

Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Gingerbread House: The historic display’s 25th anniversary edition includes white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias and an 88-pound white chocolate Santa. The Gingerbread House is made up of over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread and features 25 hidden Mickeys to find.
Gingerbread display shop: The 25th anniversary collection includes a pin, ornament, cookie jar, magnet, tumbler, T-shirt and more. The menu features gingerbread Mickeys and shingles, stöllen bread, gingersnap cookies and gingerbread ornaments, mini houses, cookie bags from Germany, loaves and peppermint bark.
Tip: To see the display, park at the Transportation & Ticket Center and take the monorail to the Grand Floridian.

Beach Club Resort

Holiday Carousel: The second-oldest gingerbread display is down at the Beach Club, which boasts a spinning gingerbread Holiday Carousel. Every year, the carousel gets a different theme, and this year’s is Mickey’s Christmas Carol. This display is made with chocolate, sugar and fondant along with hand-painted characters and gingerbread shingles and snowflakes. The Holiday Carousel also has hidden Mickeys — 24 to celebrate the display’s 24th anniversary.
Gingerbread display shop: Features a limited edition pin, cookie jar and holiday ornament. Plus, the menu includes linzer cookies, spice orange and cranberry bundt cakes, gingerbread macarons, hot cocoa brownies, Hanukkah sugar cookies, stöllen and a mini gingerbread house.

BoardWalk Inn

BoardWalk Deli Gingerbread House: The resort re-creates its deli shop in gingerbread form this year. The display is handcrafted by the resort’s bakery team down to the finest sugary details, including Mickey and friends in the windows.
Gingerbread display shop: Limited edition pin, cookie jar and holiday ornament inspired by the display. Plus, on the menu are holiday Mickey and Minnie sugar cookies, Mickey caramel corn cookies, gingerbread loaves and shingles.

Contemporary Resort

Castle Display: Back for a 13th year is the gingerbread Castle Display on the 4th floor of the Contemporary. Inspired by Cinderella Castle Dream Lights, the display is over 17 feet tall and 25 feet wide, made of over 4,000 gingerbread bricks. Yes, there are hidden Mickeys here, too — 13 of them, plus the iconic 5-legged goat.
Gingerbread display shop: Limited edition pins, cookie jar and holiday ornaments. The menu features linzer cookies, caramel apple cake with gingerbread streusel, chocolate hazelnut log, pistachio cranberry and cherry cake, Santa peppermint hot chocolate tart, Christmas tree butter cookies, winter berry freeze and frozen hot cocoa.

Wilderness Lodge

Holiday treat shop: There isn’t a gingerbread display, but guests can find dark chocolate bars, cheddar gougères, molasses crackle cookies and cookie boxes at the Lodge.
