As we reported on May 27, the Ravenous Pig will move into the Cask & Larder space sometime prior to April 2018, when the Pig’s current lease is up. Cask & Larder will move into what’s now its bar/brewery area … Downtown Credo has opened its third location inside the Church Street Exchange … Look for another Chuy’s Tex-Mex to open across the street from Trader Joe’s in Winter Park Aug. 2 … A food hall will be a part of the mix in the downtown Creative Village, a mixed-use project slated to be completed in the next two to three years … Gideon’s Bakehouse sets up shop in the old Fatto in Casa space at East End Market July 19. The pop-up specializes in baked goods … The Brix Project, Playalinda Brewing Company’s 16,000-square-foot facility, will feature a brewpub with 20 taps, a distillery (small batch vodka, rum and gin), a restaurant and a beer garden. Expect an end-of-summer opening.

Central 28 Brewing pairs its beers with grilled cheese sandwiches at 7 p.m. today, July 13, at World of Beer downtown. Cost is $28 … If you’re in New York City July 19, chef Joseph Cournoyer-Burnett and the team at Osprey Tavern is cooking at the James Beard House. Cost is $170 ($130 for JBF members) … Speaking of that team, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, Osprey Tavern holds a BBQ and Beer Brunch featuring brews from Oskar Blues and ‘cued-up fare including smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, house-made sausages, sides and dessert. Cost is $20, plus $4 for beer … Also on July 16, Cress Restaurant’s Hari Pulapaka holds a lionfish cooking demo at Whole Foods Winter Park at 11:30 a.m., and Whole Foods Altamonte at 1:30 p.m. … Former Morimoto Asia head sushi chef Junichi Takazoe of the recently opened Jimotti’s Restaurant in Sanford has started sushi service. On the list: toro, gizzard shad, alfonsin, Japanese barracuda and, yes, geoduck! … Farm-Haus stages a series of pop-up brunches every Saturday in July at East End Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., culminating in the grand opening of Farm & Haus (which we first told you about back in May) at the Audubon Park food hall … Two Chefs Seafood Oyster Bar holds a four-course beer dinner with Abita Beer July 21. Cost is $60.
