Its pretty much always patio season in Orlando but with the cooler temperatures, now is the best time of year to drink outdoors. Since happy hour is the best time of day, here are some of the greatest outdoor dining options in Orlando that also involve cheap eats and drinks.

Bar Louie

Making it the go-to place for cocktails, wine, and beer, happy hour at Bar Louie provides $3.50 drafts, $4.50 wines and $5.50 martinis from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and late night specials Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to close. On top of drink specials, Bar Louie offers half-price select appetizers and flatbreads.

With the perfect patio for people-watching in the heart of downtown Orlando, Avenue puts an upscale twist on traditional bar food. With a happy hour from 3 – 7 p.m. every Monday through Friday, guests can enjoy a variety of appetizers, like truffle fries ($3.50), popcorn Brussels sprouts ($4.50) or goat cheese dip ($5.50). Cocina 214 is a modern Mexican and Tex-Mex kitchen. Expect solid food options like chicken or brisket nachos and avocado fries for around $6.

After a long day of retail therapy at the Mall at Millenia one might be a little parched, and Earls Kitchen & Bar is the place to go to unwind. Happy hour includes various price points on food starting at $5.50 truffle fries to $23.50 steak and sushi.

Firebirds has the feel of coming off the mountain from skiing and sitting next to the fireplace. When drinks have names like “double black diamond martini” you know that’s what they were going for. This signature drink of theirs is the best happy hour deal on the menu, coming in at half-price. Happy hour is from 4 – 7 p.m. Monday – Friday and 1 – 5 p.m. on the weekends. Their bar menu includes items such as steak and tomatoes and crispy cauliflower, with everything on the menu shaved down by $3 for happy hour.

From 4 to 7 p.m. you could enjoy one of the few rooftop happy hours in the Orlando area. Looking over Mills Avenue, 4 Rebels offers dollar-off tacos during happy hour, as well as $4 well drinks and house wines. On Wednesday 4 Rebels offers half-off all glasses of wine all day.

Or if beer isn’t your thing you can get just the sake, buy a large and get a small for free for $5.95.

M Lounge is a rooftop bar with a view of downtown Orlando, offers two different happy hour specials. The first one is downstairs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the second one starts upstairs at 6 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. M Lounge has a multitude of different cocktails for $7, such as their Old-Fashioned and Fog Cutter, as well as $4 beers and $5 glasses of wine.

The Waterfront’s lakeside environs host a daily happy hour running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Each day of the week has its own unique food special, like tacos on Tuesday or a pound of seafood on Wednesday. Wine, sangria and Pinnacle vodka are all $4 respectively, with $3.50 Kona beers and $3 tall boys. The Waterfront offers a late-night happy hour as well, with all alcoholic beverages half off from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The view of the lake is a nice change of pace from the average dining experience.
