Winter Park’s Hannibal Square played host to this month’s Another Round pub-crawling adventure, as I met up with a few female friends for some ladies’ night cocktails.
We started the evening with martinis at Dexter’s before hopping over to Fresh for some French red wine, lemondropping by Hannibal’s on the Square for a quick minute, and then ending the night with tapas and sangria at BARcelona.
Not only do the drinking spots in Hannibal Square offer comfortable outdoor seating, but they are all located within a few short blocks of each other along New England Avenue.
P.S. These restaurants/bars are also known as cougar hangouts (ahem, gentlemen), and one bar allegedly hosted a heated reality TV show catfight. You can get the full scoop in this month’s Another Round column by going here.
And to give you a better picture of our pub-crawling evening in Hannibal Square, I’ve included photos from that night below.

They took the castle theme to the extreme with this house.
They even brought the Middle Ages look to the interior.

Crazy tilework makes this bathroom look like it walked right out of the Spanish Middle Ages. Only with running water, we presume.
There’s even a dungeon. Or something resembling one.

We’re not sure how this works, but there are river rocks embedded in the floor of the bathroom.
