Yumee Katsu
5075 Edgewater Drive, Orlando
“If you’re craving a comforting, crispy, and satisfying Japanese meal, Yumee Katsu is one of those hidden gems that truly delivers.

“Tucked along Lee Road, this spot might seem low-key from the outside, but don’t let that fool you — the food here speaks for itself. The location is convenient, and there’s even a little green market nearby, which adds a nice local touch. While I did have one random encounter with a slightly questionable crowd, it was honestly just a one-time thing. Every other visit has been smooth, relaxed, and enjoyable.

“One thing I really appreciate is how modern and efficient the ordering process is. They have a self-ordering kiosk, which makes everything super easy — no pressure, no rush, and you can take your time browsing the menu. It’s perfect if you already know what you want or if you’re like me and need a minute to decide because everything sounds good.” — Peter L. Credit: Yumee Katsu/Instagram
Sabai Thai Street Food
3333 S. Orange Ave., Ste 105, Orlando
“Oh man!! I’ve been searching for a place that offers tom yum noodle soup in Orlando for a while now… so happy this place opened and definitely hit the spot. My mom actually picked it up for me and I had it a little later and it was still very delicious so excited to have it fresh in the restaurant in the near future. We had other things that were on point and excited to try the rest of the menu! Definitely highly recommend.” — Jerry T.
Ming Garden
3914 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando
“Ming Garden has taken over the old Peter’s Kitchen and (controversial) Chuan Lu Garden, and I couldn’t be happier!

“Their grand opening had AYCE dim sum for $19.99; and there was a line out the door. Fresh steamed buns, baked buns, decadent rice rolls, sizzling turnip cakes, and more — it was literally ‘all that and dim sum’!

The Dough Show
4797 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee
“It’s the dough show and yes you get dinner and a show right at your table.

“I got the best seat in the house right in front of the glass it felt like front row at your favorite concert but the star of the show was my egyptian pizza being made fresh right in front of me.

The Jersey Spot Pizza and Pasta
3920 N. Dean Road, Orlando
“Born and raised in Jersey I am super picky with my pizza. I usually gotta tell them well done crust or just be very specific just to get a good slice. I got the 2 slice and drink lunch special and let me tell you it, it didn’t disappoint. No flop, iykyk, perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Can’t wait to go back with my oldest, who loves herself some pizza like her momma.

Budsaba Thai Bistro
222 Neighborhood Market Road, Orlando
“Upon entering I was a bit surprised. The outside looks like a typical fast food place however when entering, it’s nicely organized all the table to the wall and very open.

“There’s just a few tables so it can fill up quick however we went at around 5:30 and was ok!

“All of the food that came out was on point and delicious! The menu was simple but it had all the required authentic Thai dishes that one needs! Definitely recommend!” — Thao T. Credit: Budsaba Thai/Google Maps
Sushi Saint
957 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park
“This location has only been open a month and to tell you I was completely shocked would be an understatement! Our server Ashley made our experience worthwhile and the food was paced perfectly and grew incredibly more delectable with every single bite! We started off with the Honey Garlic Edamame which had my partner and I debating if we should order thirds of edamame because it was simply that good! Followed that up with a hamachi truffle potato sashimi which was the perfect sweet and milky treat and honestly might have been one of my favorite bites of the night!” — Katlyn P. Amalfi
12001 Avalon Lake Drive, Orlando
“My new favorite Italian restaurant!

“We went during their soft opening. As soon as we sat down, they brought over a bowl of Italian crackers. We ordered cocktails, calamari appetizer, pizza, gnocchi, and chicken bolognese. Everything was delicious. My gnocchi meal was so good. I usually bring home half my meal as a leftover but the gnocchi was so good that I couldn’t stop eating it.

Tamara Lake Mary
1541 International Parkway, Lake Mary
“Heyyyyyyyy you guyyyyyyyyyys! Ok welp let’s get right in. The asthetic is something to talk about. Super modern, super classy, well done! The staff was pleasant, we opted to sit at the bar and it took a while for someone to tend to us. When the bar tender came over he was very pleasant his drinks were good. The eats-samosas are delicious, momo’s really yum as well, cauliflower dish was good. Flavors are well balanced. They do have HH, they also offer hookah, they have outdoor seating in too. Overall the place has so much potential, food is very much on point. Let’s eat!” — Sasha T. Credit: Tamara Lake Mary/Instagram
Raine’s Pizzeria
2401 Curry Ford Road, Orlando
“We live walking distance to this spot so we were excited to see it open up as there’s not many pizza options on our block. This place is in the hourglass social house building where foxtail is located and where the old Leguminati stall used to be.

“The pizza is described as NY style. They also have local beers on tap and you can also order from a selection of craft beer bottles and cans from their fridge. The prices are slightly on the higher side for a pizza joint.

“We ordered the SPO pie and added pepperoni to it for an extra $3. The pizza was ok, the amount of oregano really overwhelmed the sausage and pepperoni to where it was difficult to taste the other ingredients. To be fair they were in their soft opening so maybe they were working out the kinks, will probably return again to catch them on a better day.” — Narenda C. Credit: Raine's Pizzeria/Instagram
Seoul Bōl
5845 Winter Garden Vineland Road, Windermere
“I was sad to see Chi-kin go but Seoul Bol is a good replacement. Similar to chipotle, you can create your own bowl. I was confused with the menu on choosing items so by the time I was done, there were additional charges. I wasn’t aware that certain items were extra costs as it didn’t say it on the menu. The gentleman helping me, said the egg was extra and when I had asked for avocado, he didn’t mention it was an extra cost. The noodles were refrigerator cold which was unexpected. I was a little confused with the mix of hot and cold items as majority was cold but some toppings were hot so I wasn’t sure to enjoy this hot or cold. My rice was under and crunchy which was not enjoyable. The flavor of everything was delicious just some unfortunate picks I guess.” — Julie P. Credit: Seoul Bōl/Instagram
The Human Bean
234 E. State Road 434, Winter Springs
“OBSESSED with The Human Bean. Not only is the menu delicious but they truly picked GREAT HUMANS to work there. I am a loyal customer already and every interaction I have had with these workers (especially Kim) have been great. I appreciate their patience and enthusiasm as I learn about some of the newer (to me) menu items and decide what I want. Oh, and Aletha (my yellow lab) happens to be a big fan too because the pup cups are legit and she loves them. So happy you are part of this community :)” — Autumn S. Credit: The Human Bean/Facebook
Summer Breeze Roti Shop
215 W. State Road 434, Longwood
“The food is homemade and taste delicious! Service is fast and the staff is friendly. They have curry chicken, curry goat, oxtail, doubles and more. Their doubles are amazing and made fresh every day.” — Nikki C.
Jeff’s Bagel Run
3011 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando
“The newest location for this franchise in the Orlando area. They just opened a couple weeks back and everything so far has been great. I went on their opening day and was welcomed warmly by the staff. They thoroughly explained how they operate and how their bagels are made. They have a rotating menu to keep things interesting so be sure to ask what they’re offering when you head in.” — Stacy F. Credit: Jeff's Bagel Run/Facebook
