On Aug. 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, the third-annual O-Town MacDown will host teams from resorts, restaurants, organizations and food truck from all over the area to compete for whose mac is the cheesiest. There will also be a contingent from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida competing as the event’s youngest chefs.
All proceeds from ticket sales ($15 in advance, $20 at the door for adults; $10 in advance, $15 at the door for kids 12 and under; kids under 3 are free) will go to Give Kids the World Village, where more than 8,000 children with life-threatening illnesses are treated like royalty daily.
