One thing that a Fourth of July celebration needs is food, and two popular Orlando restaurants are teaming up on some unique dishes for a pop-up Saturday.

From 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 4, Kaya’s Executive Pastry Chef Clarice Lam and Smokemade Meats’ Tyler Brunache team up to serve Orlando a collection of homemade pastries and savory meats for one day only at Kaya in Mills 50.

Some of the hybrid eats created for this specialty menu include brisket bear claws, smoked longganisa buns, cheddar jalapeño cornbread bibingka and mango peach basque cheesecake.

Preorder boxes were available for the special event but they are now very sold out. Walk-ins are welcome, but lines are very likely.

Kaya is located at 618 N. Thornton Ave., Orlando.
