As any live music fan knows, the state of the concert ticket industry is a disgrace. Unfortunately, the FTC’s junk fee rule — set after various members of Congress just about died trying to purchase Taylor Swift tickets — only requires transparency on said fees; it doesn’t reduce them. But here’s a pro tip: If you want to see a show at any of the Dr. Phillips Center’s lovely spaces, but you don’t want to pay the extra $10, $15, $30 or whatever, all you have to do is walk up to their ticket window. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Easy! Worth it!
