Liberation Cat House, founded by Jessica Harper, has been doing the good work for local felines since 2017. The small, nonprofit organization works to rescue and rehabilitate at-risk cats and kittens in the area, with an emphasis on safe adoption. (At least one Orlando Weekly staffer can vouch for their careful process from personal experience.) Their social media is chock-full of stellar adoptable cat content and their community outreach is tireless. You’ll see them popping up at local events often in concert with compatriot org Brozanski for Cats.
