Prepare your most salacious sundresses and ready your ooh-la-la accessories for the second annual Miss Sizzlin’ Summer Pinup Contest presented by Pinups and Pumps at Lil Indie’s.
In an effort to raise funds for the Muscovy Sanctuary of Florida, budding pin-ups are invited to register for the competition for $25 and arrive in their best vintage summer attire to vie for the title of Miss Sizzlin’ Summer. All proceeds collected during the fundraiser will be donated to the aforementioned Muscovy Sanctuary, which takes in (hear us out) Muscovy ducklings, which are otherwise turned away at most standard rescues due to their invasive/non-native presence in Central Florida.
Admission is free for this 21-and-up event, and it kicks off at 4 p.m. featuring live music, cocktails and a raffle. The official Miss Sizzlin’ contest starts at 7 p.m. Get ready to ruffle some feathers and save some ducklings in the process!
