We’ve loved Arrested Development from the first time we sat down in front of our televisions to watch it way back in 2003. We cried big blue (Bluth?) tears when it was cancelled in 2006. Then we wanted to give Netflix a big “Steve Holt!” for pulling off the ultimate illlllluuuuusion and bringing the show back from the dead last year. And hey, it was a pretty damn good season, left open in such a way so that the producers could follow through on plans for a big Arrested Development movie.
However, according to Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, we’ve got another season of the Bluth’s coming, the only question is when it will be happening. On the Carson Daly Show last night, Gob Bluth, er, Will Arnett confirmed that the fifth season is in the works.
