Walt Disney World really wants you to know you can’t smoke weed in their parks

With the passing of Amendment 2, it would appear that Disney World wants to make sure you know that under no circumstances can you spark one in their parks.

Walt Disney World Resort recently updated their rules page, and for the first time ever, specifically listed “marijuana” under its list of prohibited items right along with booze.

Until now, marijuana fell under the “illegal substances” umbrella on Disney’s prohibited items page, but with medical marijuana soon to be available in some form or another (it’s still being debated), it would appear that the company is taking a proactive approach to the issue.

We’ve reached out to Disney for further explanation and will update this post when more information is available.

But for now, even if you do qualify for medical marijuana in the state of Florida, it would appear that Disney wants to harsh your mellow.
