The Thornton Park Neighborhood district goes all in on celebrating their unofficial Mayor LuLu the Cat — one of the few politicians left in Florida we believe in — this month.

We have a soft spot for this friendly feline, immortalized in mural form on the side of the Falcon — the very same Falcon where we often spot LuLu belly up at the bar, accepting much friendly petting. (Even during a noise show!)

Starting Saturday, May 10, neighborhood businesses including the aforementioned Falcon, the Classic, Honey House Vintage, Vamp, Lambs Eat Ivy Salon and more are proffering a LuLu Passport. Once you’ve got yours, avail yourself of LuLu-themed eats, drinks, products or services at any of these stops and you’ll get a stamp. Folks who fill up their passports will be eligible for prizes when this grand tour ends on May 25.
