Reality television icon, entrepreneur and meme royalty Tiffany “New York” Pollard is coming to Orlando to host a special Off the Record drag night in September.
Pollard will be in Orlando to co-host “OTR-TV,” a reality television-themed evening of drag on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Pollard will do a special meet-and-greet (if it’s sitting stiffly on a bed and mock-simmering in rage, we will die) as well as “react to each performance.”
Aside from Pollard, the OTR cast that evening will consist of recent RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Myki Meeks, Coco the Siren, Allegra D, Cara Cavalli, V Cavalli and Pherocia.
“Having a legend like Tiffany Pollard join us, bringing one of the internet’s most iconic personalities right into our community for a truly legendary night, is a perfect example of how we make that happen,” OTR mover and co-founder Galvin Baez told Orlando Weekly. “To quote an iconic meme circulating, ‘We can’t all be in LA or NYC, some of us have to hold it down in Orlando, Florida.'”
Tiffany Pollard takes over Off the Record on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 9 p.m.. There will be two shows, at 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. Tickets will run you from $50-$100 and are available through the Ren’s website. They will go fast.
