Orlando gets plenty of character meet-and-greets, but the Sunburst Convention of Celebrity Impersonators and Tribute Artists swaps the cartoon stars for Elvis Presley or Cher with no oversized mouse-heads in sight. The annual gathering of celebrity look-alikes returns Sept. 25 to 27 and promises an army of past and present celebrities and pop-culture icons.

One familiar face may carry a little more weight this year, though: The Dolly Parton impersonator has an even more daunting task than usual as she steps into those rhinestoned boots barely a month after the country icon’s death. Over the course of the weekend, performers have a chance to trade notes and fine-tune their acts as they prepare for Saturday night’s red-carpet Sunset Gala, open to the public. Photo ops are plentiful, it goes without saying.
