Orlando drag star Myki Meeks has made it the final three in the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and while you can watch it at home on MTV, you have options for communal watching.
Meeks has progressed to the final round of Season 18 of Drag Race, alongside Nini Coco and Darlene Mitchell. Her Houda-’n’-Gifford-tastic performance with Darlene Mitchell on the “Good Morning, Bitches!” talk-show spoof (also mirroring her turn as Drew Barrymore on Barrymore’s chat show in March), and strong showing on that same episode’s runway challenge had Meeks as a lock for the finals.
You’ve got your pick of local spots to watch this finale in the company of fellow Drag Race devotees.
— You can watch this finale on Meeks’ home turf at the Renaissance Theatre in Ivanhoe Village starting at 7 p.m. for $17, with special guests practically guaranteed (though Meeks is in NYC).
— If you’d prefer to head downtown, Anthem hosts a viewing party at 8 p.m. and it’s free, hosted by Daisy Dior and Remini Mogul.
— Or Southern Nights in the Milk District hosts a free viewing party at 8 p.m. with Morgan McMichaels of Drag Race All-Stars hosting.
