Orlando Opera gives the next generation a stage at SINGS! Showcase Concert

The next generation of opera sings out in Opera Orlando’s 2026-2027 season at the SINGS! showcase. The Summer Institute for the Next Generation of Singers is a week-long program for aspiring music professionals in high school and college, one of many programs at Opera Orlando devoted to fostering the next generation of opera artists and audiences.

Throughout the week, participants work with mentors like Grammy-winning Opera Orlando general director Gabriel Preisser and internationally acclaimed heldentenor Stuart Skelton. At the end of the week, students perform in a showcase at Timucua Arts Foundation to show off the skills they learned in the program. Come hear the harmonious results.
