The ability to remember is one of our greatest gifts, and one of the best ways to honor those we have lost. Tymisha Harris and her Cabaret of Legends does that through song. Harris’ one-woman show honors some of the greatest Black performers over the last hundred years, from Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald to Whitney Houston and Beyoncé.

Harris uses her award-winning voice and stage presence to share the music of these personal inspirations, and she is just as inspirational; riding high after a run of six shows at this year’s Fringe, lauded as the “hardest-working woman at the 2026 Orlando Fringe” by critics Seth Kubersky and Matt Palm. Through music, stories and costume changes aplenty, Harris’ show is a love letter to these larger-than-life artists.

8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 13-14, Orlando Shakes, 812 E. Rollins St., orlandoshakes.org, $49.
