As the first weekend of June arrives, so do a weekend of LGBTQ+ celebrations and parties in and around the theme parks. Gay Days, One Magical Weekend, Girls in Wonderland, Bear Jamboree and the Pride Cup have diversions to spare starting … now!

Gaydays 
Thursday-Sunday, June 4-7
Holiday Inn and Suites

Celebrating 35 years, Gaydays is set to pull out all the stops with parties and pageants this weekend. During the day, guests can celebrate with Gaydays Expo and pool parties. At night, guests can attend the classy piano lounge or the high-energy Club 1991. There will be drag shows, pageants, bingo, comedy shows, brunches, a foam party, a Glow Puppy Mosh all on offer.

One Magical Weekend
Thursday-Monday, June 4-8
Sheraton Lake Buena Vista

This year’s massive One Magical Weekend brings nonstop parties and things to do all weekend at Disney World and several of its surrounding resorts. Pool parties, live DJs, after-hours dancing and much more celebration is in store for the weekend. On Saturday, Red: Ringmaster, the main event, transforms the House of Blues into a lively carnival where guests can dance to music from DJ Danny Verde into the wee hours.

Bear Jamboree
Thursday-Monday, June 4-8
Crowne Plaza Lake Buena Vista Resort

One Magical Weekend’s brother event, Bear Jamboree, takes place all weekend and beyond with even more live entertainment, pool parties, music and even comedian Jessica Kirson all centered around Lake Buena Vista Resort. Guests can celebrate with One Magical Weekend at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark during the event Riptide. Riptide is one night where the entire waterpark is reserved after-hours for partygoers to swim and dance. 

 Girls in Wonderland
Thursday-Monday, June 4-8
SpringHill Suites by Marriott & TownePlace Suites

The country’s premier music and lifestyle festival for queer women, featuring daily concerts, dance parties, pool parties, comedy shows, a Sapphic Safari and more at SpringHill Suites by Marriott & TownePlace Suites. Space Cowgirl and Aliens, this year’s signature dance party, meets with neon lights and cosmic cowboy boots on the dance floor. 

The Pride Cup
Friday-Sunday, June 5-7
Hyatt Place Orlando

At The Pride Cup, attendees compete for the gold in sports such as pickleball, soccer, volleyball, golf, kickball, cornhole, rugby and a Rainbow Run. To compete, guests can register as a single competitor or a full team, depending on the sport. Prices per sport vary. Athletes can take a break from the competition at the Poolside Chill Zone Saturday and Sunday at the Hyatt Place pool.
