This weekend the Enzian Theater hosts a run of “Meet the Filmmaker” screenings of theme park doc Stolen Kingdom, complete with director Josh Bailey in attendance select nights.

Stolen Kingdom opened last year’s Florida Film Festival and now returns for a screening run Friday-Thursday, May 8-14, with Josh Bailey on hand to answer questions about the film.

The documentary delves into the clandestine world of “theme park explorers,” daredevils who make after-hours expeditions to theme parks, and maybe take a memento or two for themselves.

“I hope people that have no exposure to this world watch this film and see a different side of the Disney parks. I think a lot of people will and already have viewed it as a partly comedic documentary, but I genuinely hope they take away something more profound,” Bailey told Orlando Weekly last year.

“Disney has become something that’s ingrained in American pop culture, and whether it’s paying $20,000 for a piece of Disney World or jumping out of a dying attraction to desperately preserve it, these people feel like they have ownership over this thing.”

Stolen Kingdom runs May 8-14; Bailey will be present for a Q& A at three screenings — 9:15 p.m. Friday, May 8; 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9; and 5:45 p.m. Sunday, May 10.
