A popular summer tradition for local arts doyennes, the Cup-A-Thon fundraiser and social gathering has been hosted for nearly four decades at Crealdé School of Art.
The pottery sale offers hundreds of unique ceramic cups, bowls and varied other vessels, all handmade by Crealdé instructors, artists and students. There’s one twist that elevates this above that of “just” a pottery sale. If you buy a cup, it’ll be filled! A free refreshment is available with every purchase of a cup or goblet, and all proceeds support upgrades to the ceramics studio to ensure the program thrives.
Pottery Ping-Pong is a new addition to the tradition: Think beer pong but with free ceramics instead of projectile vomiting.
