Get a crash course in the state of contemporary dance and movement in Central Florida at this weekend’s Shift Choreographer’s Showcase. Taking place in the Marshall Ellis Theatre space right off Orange Blossom Trail, the night features dance artists from local troupes Emotions Dance, Edgez Dance and N.A.D.ance.
The dancers will perform choreography by Ryan Page, Christopher Ryan, Ellexis Hatch, Dante Lewis Fernandez, Corinne Hidar and Nataniel Alvira. The intimate M.E. Theatre is a suitably intimate stage on which to witness these innovative locals confounding one’s expectations of the body’s limits.
