You’d be lying if you said that, during your romp through the best-selling Fifty Shades of Grey series, those steamy (and, at times, intensely uncomfortable) chapters didn’t make you giggle. At least once? Well this week, red-cheeked audiences blush once again as Spank – The Fifty Shades Parody trots into town, harping on the humor in the book’s uncanny sex scenes. The touring production, starring lovers Hugh Hanson and Tasha Woode, spoofs E.L. James’ fictional series through rib-tickling singing bits and a G-rated striptease. (Note: the show’s not associated whatsoever with the author). It’s the kind of act for those looking for a couples date night or ladies’ night out.
