Stand-up comics and couple Natalie Cuomo and Dan LaMorte mix business and pleasure this week with their co-headliner at The Abbey.

Best known for her comedy album Shut Up You Loved It, which debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts, and recognition as a finalist for “New York’s Funniest” in the New York Comedy Festival in 2024, Cuomo’s comedic style is bold and honest.

Her numerous tattoos have a comedic presence in themselves — making their way into her stand-up and landing her appearances on Ink Master: No More Ink! and Inked Magazine.

LaMorte, a former college baseball player who was forced into early retirement due to a career-ending injury, has been in the comedy scene for more than 10 years. Known for his two comedy albums, Not Enough Pieces and Infect Me Once, and for being named one of the “New Faces” at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in 2024, LaMorte’s material ranges from his experiences being on the spectrum and losing 185 pounds after a fatty liver disease diagnosis at 23.

The couple will each perform their own individual set, then close the show as a duo. How’s that for marital bliss?

9 p.m. Friday, July 18, The Abbey, $31.98-$44.95.
