Does your pet have what it takes to be a model? Purrhaps your furry friend is tail-ented enough to win the chance to be featured on a wine bottle.

Pet Alliance has kicked off their annual My Best Friend Wine Label Contest, wherein Orlandoans can send in a picture of themselves with their pet for the chance to be featured on a Quantum Leap Winery wine bottle. The contest is open to cats and dogs (sorry, tarantulas).

Along with a picture, the winning wine labels will feature the story of how the pet and owner found their forever homes together.  The wines with special labels will be available soon after the winners are announced.

To enter your pet for consideration, submit their name and a picture and share your story of how you two found each other. Entry fee for submission is $5. To be able to accept the award of the wine, human competitors must be over 21. There will be one cat and one dog chosen as joint winners and labelists.

Entries are being accepted now through July 19 online. Once the submission window closes, voting begins on the lucky pets, running July 20 through Aug. 2. Each vote requires a $1 donation to Pet Alliance through each pet’s profile page. At the end of the voting period, the furry family with the most votes will be immortalized on the 2026 My Best Friend Rescue Red Wine.

The top 10 finalists of each category will also be invited to attend Pet Alliance and Quantum Leap Winery’s event in September to celebrate the opening of the new Pet Alliance shelter. All donations from submissions, votes and purchase of the 2026 wine will go toward the Pet Alliance’s work in sheltering and rehoming animals with loving families.
