Universal guests can soon board the crazy train with Halloween Horror Nights’ newest house, honoring the legendary Ozzy Osbourne. “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” will take fans through 45 years in the life of one of rock music’s biggest icons.
Osbourne passed away in July 2025 from a heart attack amid lingering health issues, breaking the hearts of longtime fans and macabre metal rockers worldwide. Aside from co-founding Black Sabbath, the English musician was celebrated for his shocking stage antics, pivotal contributions to the heavy metal genre, and being a paternal menace in his family’s short-lived reality show, The Osbournes.
The HHN house will serve as a “non-traditional memorial,” the park says, taking guests on a journey through his solo career.
Universal Orlando guests will be taken through dungeons and ruins before boarding the “Crazy Train” into the world of Osbourne’s musical oeuvre. Scares and frights are inspired by the covers of Osbourne’s Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, Black Rain and The Ultimate Sin.
“Walking through these haunted houses, you’ll recognize so many moments inspired by his music and imagination,” wife Sharon and son Jack Osbourne said in a statement. “It’s a wonderful tribute to Ozzy, and we hope fans have as much fun experiencing it as he would have had seeing it come together.”
Along with the house, accompanying themed merchandise was announced, featuring a T-shirt and Ozzy Osbourne acrylic figure. Merchandise for all HHN houses is available for purchase in the parks and will be available online July 30.
