The bookstore located on the third floor of the downtown library is already a must-shop for discerning used-book lovers, but during this annual sale, thousands of fiction and non-fiction hardcovers, paperbacks, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs and more are available for half the already discounted price. (We have friends who have scored amazing vinyl at this shop, so record fans should come through too.)
Regular sale hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 15-16, and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17. But there's a special members-only pre-sale from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday); those who aren't already members can join Friends of the Library at the door for only $15.
