Original Art Expo returns to Orlando for a long weekend of unique comic art and artists

The Original Art Expo returns to Orlando this weekend, featuring all the one-of-a-kind comic and animation art — and the folks who create it — you can handle.

The Original Art Expo specializes in original comic and sequential art — that is to say, page mock-ups, individual panels, animation cels and original sketches rather than comics back issues. It’ll cost you a pretty penny, but the market is consistently hot.

The long weekend features more than 75 artists ready to sign and sketch, 60 exhibitors, a VIP opening reception on Friday and charity art auction on Saturday.

The artist guests include Ash Gonzales, George Pratt, JP Cuison, Pat Broderick, Julie Bell, David Finch, Bob Layton, Jimmy Palmiotti, Humberto Ramos and many more.

Original Art Expo happens Jan. 24–26 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at Universal Orlando. Tickets are available through the Expo’s website.
